KNIT@NITE Welcome Party
Hosted by Josh Bennett and London Kaye

Thursday, July 16 6:00–7:00 PM Eastern

You’re invited to an exclusive KNIT@NITE Welcome Party with hosts Josh Bennett and London Kaye! The insanely popular weekly knitting event usually takes place at Alan Cumming’s NYC hotspot Club Cumming instead K@N will be virtually taking over Knitting LIVE! to throw a fiber-filled party. We are celebrating all of YOU (or should we say “ewe”?), because you are the fabric that holds us all together. Josh and London have unbe-weave-able surprises looming ahead.

Studio Tour with artist Carol Milne

Enjoy a guided tour of the sculpture studio where Carol Milne creates her knitted glass. She will highlight actual work in three dimensions (instead of 2D images) and give insights into why she does what she does.  She will also share live demos of some of the steps in her process.  To make this more like an actual studio visit & conversation, Carol will be answering questions as they come in.  We want it to feel like you are actually with her in Seattle.

Demo: Creating New Yarns from Antique Wheels

Swing by and watch a live demo with spinning wheel lover, repairer, and rescuer, Heavenly Bresser! Check out her favorite yarns to spin and how (and why) she spins modern yarns on spinning wheels from the past.
