Jared Flood | Persistent Intentionality: 20 Years of Brooklyn Tweed
JARED FLOOD founded Brooklyn
Tweed in 2005 and has since grown the company into a maker of sustainable yarns and a standard-setting knitting design house.
BROOKLYN TWEED connects hand-knitters to their materials by creating timeless wool yarns and patterns that support textile production in the USA.
The company develops and manufactures breed-specific yarns that fortify the American fiber supply chain: this means designing, sourcing, dyeing, and spinning yarns 100 percent within the United States and welcoming the knitter along on the journey from sheep to skein.
KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Celebrating two decades of passion and dedication, Jared shares the inspiring story of building Brooklyn Tweed into an iconic American yarn and knitwear brand. Special Event Tickets - Death Becomes Her
Madeline Ashton is the most beautiful actress (just ask her) ever to grace the stage and screen. Helen Sharp is the long-suffering author (just ask her) who lives in her shadow. They have always been the best of frenemies…until Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé away. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for. After one sip of Viola’s magical potion, Madeline and Helen begin a new era of life (and death) with their youth and beauty restored…and a grudge to last eternity.
