Saturday, February 11, 7:00 PM–10:00 PM

Don’t miss the Gala Dinner, where you will join your fellow attendees in celebrating Knitting LIVE!

The Story of a Knitter
How does a girl from Argentina, whose life path originally led to becoming a doctor and working at local hospitals, end up all tangled in yarn, sharing her passion for knitting all around the world?

My name is Joji, and I am a human who knits a lot. I love to knit by myself, but what I love most is to knit with others and show them all this craft can do for them. Knitting is healing, it’s empowering, and it’s my way to show and express my love for other humans. I’d love to tell you my story. From my early and humble beginnings in Buenos Aires to my present, when I get to share my work and my dreams on a global scale—all thanks to my knitting.

Tickets for the Gala Dinner are only available with the purchase of the Big Apple Weekender or 5th Avenue Getaway Packages.

Kick off your Knitting LIVE! weekend with a night at theater at the Tony Award–winning Hadestown! We are pleased to offer a block of orchestra tickets at the rate of $129 each!

Attendees will be able to pick up their tickets at Registration. Additional information regarding ticket pickup and seat selections will be provided at a later date. Seat locations are not guaranteed to be adjacent.

If you'd like to walk to the theater together, meet at Registration at 6:15 PM; the theater is approximately 5 minutes away. The show will begin at 7:00 PM.

Hadestown intertwines two mythic tales—that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone—as it invites you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Anaïs Mitchell’s beguiling melodies and Rachel Chavkin’s poetic imagination pit industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, dancers, and singers, Hadestown is a haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go.

With only a limited quantity of seats available to this performance, don’t delay in purchasing your tickets. All ticket purchases are final sale, and refunds will not be offered. Tickets to Hadestown are available during checkout.
