Whether your conundrum is about cake or cashmere, friendship or Fair Isle, you’ll have a chance to ask questions anonymously and get answers. Joined by MDK’s own Ann Shayne and Kay Gardiner, Clara will get to the heart of the matter and untangle whatever is troubling you. Be sure to come with a question!
What Makes a Great Pattern?
As co-founders of the website Mason-Dixon Knitting, Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne spend all day looking at knitting patterns. After 15 years of this never-ending quest for cool things to knit, they have a lot of profound, deeply felt, and often ridiculous theories of what makes a knitting pattern truly great. Their talk explores all this, with plenty of visual aids. By the end, youll have a lot to think about in terms of your own knitting preferences and youll have a juicy list of patterns that Kay and Ann believe are the awesomest patterns around.
