Class Details:
The contiguous method is a way of working your top-down sweater while shaping shoulders and armholes. I like to teach two ways of working contiguous: the raglan shoulder + fake set-up sleeve & the yoke shoulder + straight armhole. In this class, students will knit 2 miniatures to understand the contiguous construction. Then, they will receive a pdf with a vest pattern to knit their own contiguous piece.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round, have knit a whole garment, experience with top-down garment construction, basic finishing techniques
Homework:
None
Supplies to Bring:
Scrap yarn, 4 stitch markers, knitting needles in a size to match the yarn.
