This comprehensive course offers an in-depth exploration of three essential techniques for adjusting the waist in garments. Participants will gain invaluable knowledge and practical skills in side, localized dart, and partial increase and decrease. These techniques are helpful for achieving a flattering and customized fit in knitted garments. In order to solidify and enhance our understanding of the constructions, we will engage in hands-on exploration with three miniatures during this class.
We will work 3 miniatures in class but have one of these ready for class: Cast on 20 stitches. Work 6 rows in stockinette stitch. Save them for the class. The other 2 samples we will work in class.
Around 50g/2oz of scrap yarn (DK/worsted is the best). Straight needles in a size to match the yarn.
