Class Details:

The Moving Forward Wrap pattern, as the name implies, is about making deliberate decisions to make the life of one’s dreams! The shawl is shaped like a large arrow, a symbol of forward momentum.

Students will make a small swatch in class to acquire the skills to make the full version at home. They will receive an abbreviated pattern for class, and a full version of the pattern to work on at home. Students will learn the following techniques:
• German twisted cast-on
• Center double decrease
• Lace knitting
• Directional / mirrored increases and decreases

Homework:

None

Supplies for Class:

As we will be making a small swatch in class, this is a great opportunity to use scrap yarn. If you have a skein that has at least 50% of yarn left, and is DK to worsted weight, bring it! Check the ball band for the appropriate needle size. Circular needles should be at least 16” in order to comfortably hold the number of stitches of the swatch we will be making in class. Materials fee is for the pattern at wholesale price.

Materials Fee (to Be Paid Directly to the Teacher):
$6
