Class Details:

Learn to embellish your sweaters and knit accessories with embroidered words and letters. Adorn your knits with your Word of the Year, favorite lyrics, or monogram initials. In this class you’ll learn about the best tools, materials, and techniques to stitch readable letters that will get your message across.

Homework:

Fine-gauge knit 8” square swatch/garment (could be a t-shirt)
Worsted-weight 8” square swatch/garment/accessory

Supplies for Class:

Embroidery Floss, in 2 colors (6 stranded DMC and/or size #8 perle cotton) 6” embroidery hoop Embroidery needle

Tapestry wool or worsted-weight yarn, in 2 colors
Tapestry and/or chenille needle
Fine-gauge knit 8" square swatch/garment (could be a T-shirt)
Worsted-weight 8" square swatch/garment/accessory

Optional transfer tools:
Water-soluble stabilizer
Heat-transfer pen/pencil
Disappearing-ink marker
