Up your cable knitting game by adding simple colorwork! Although the fabric looks intricate, the technique is quite easy. Learn how in just two fun hours!

Homework:

Swatch #1: With a medium color of worsted weight yarn and size 8 knitting needles, cast on 26 stitches. Work K1P1 Rib for 1”. Slip stitches onto a holder with yarn attached.
Swatch #2: Same as Swatch #1.
Swatch #3: With a medium color of worsted weight yarn and size 8 knitting needles, cast on 42 stitches. Work K1P1 Rib for 1”. Slip stitches onto a holder with yarn attached.

Supplies for Class:

Three homework swatches; light-colored worsted-weight yarn that sharply contrasts with the homework; size 7 US knitting needles; 2 double-pointed knitting needles, size 4 or 5; class handout printed and ready to go; sticky notes.
