Class Details:

As knitters, we are quite used to our stitches flowing in one direction ... but what happens when you want them to move in different ways?

Laura takes you on a deep dive into modular construction as we look at how to manipulate the geometry of our knitting so that our stitches grow in unexpected ways. We’ll look at a variety of grafting techniques, from the obvious to more obscure, and practice picking up stitches in a multitude of ways. Laura has been playing with modular design over the last fifteen years in her clubs and mystery knit-alongs and has never led a workshop on this fascinating subject. Prepare to have a whole new perspective on your stitches and where they can go!
