Knitting LIVE New York 2022 Cancellation Information

We are very sorry to announce that we are canceling the August NYC in-person show. We were SO looking forward to seeing you all in person, but in the end the majority of you said that weren’t looking forward to coming to Times Square in the middle of the NYC summer heat. We totally get it!

BUT the good news is that you are invited to our BETTER THAN EVER WINTER in-person Knitting LIVE show happening in NYC the weekend of February 9–12, 2023, at the newly renovated Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Registration will open this August with a phenomenal teacher lineup, fantastic vendors, and lots of new and exciting attractions planned. Stay tuned!

For those of you who were already signed up for August, please check your email for details on the cancellation. For an FAQ please scroll down.

We so appreciate your understanding and are looking forward to seeing you all this February, when we are finally back in-person in NYC!!!!

Warmly,

The Knitting LIVE! Team

We have unfortunately made the difficult decision to cancel the show, due to lower-than-usual registration—we heard from many fans that they didn’t sign up because they prefer to not be in NYC during the summer heat. We sincerely apologize, as we were really looking forward to seeing all of you and being back in person.

Vaccination Policy
The safety and security of our attendees, vendors, teachers, staff, and volunteers are our most important priorities. We will require COVID-19 vaccinations to attend the New York show. In order to receive a badge or wristband, everyone will be required to upload a jpg, png, or pdf of your vaccination card showing proof of full COVID vaccination obtained at least two weeks before the event. Vaccination cards will be reviewed and approved. For those who have medical conditions and are unable to get vaccinated, a doctor’s note is required, a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of each day you attend, and mask to be worn at all times.

Masking
Based on current guidelines from New York City, Knitting LIVE! will not require masking, but we recommend masks in crowded areas. Some classes or lectures will require masking based on teacher preferences, and this is noted in the class description if required, so you will know before you purchase the class if you will need to wear a mask. Complimentary masks will be available as well as hand sanitizer stations on site, and our cleaning crews will do frequent cleanings in high-touch areas.

This is our COVID policy as of 7/5/22; it will be updated based on any masking or vaccine requirement changes from city, state, or federal authorities. We will follow all masking requirements based on community transmission, which you can track here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html?CDC_AA_refVal

Please contact the registration team via the chat bot, 985-240-5511, or questions@american-tradeshow.com with further questions.
