Knitting LIVE! by Vogue Knitting is a one-of-a-kind, experiential knitting event. This event will be focused on classes and will not feature a full Marketplace. There will be a select number of tabletop vendors.

Vaccination Policy
The safety and security of our attendees, vendors, teachers, staff, and volunteers are our most important priorities. We will require COVID-19 vaccinations to attend the New York show. In order to receive a badge, everyone will be required to upload a jpg, png, or pdf of your vaccination card showing proof of full COVID vaccination obtained at least two weeks before the event. Vaccination cards will be reviewed and approved. For those who have medical conditions and are unable to get vaccinated, a doctor’s note is required, a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of each day you attend, and mask to be worn at all times.
Masking
Based on current guidelines from New York City, Knitting LIVE! we will not require masking, but we recommend masks in crowded areas. Some classes or lectures will require masking based on teacher preferences, and this is noted in the class description if required, so you will know before you purchase the class if you will need to wear a mask. Complimentary masks will be available as well as hand sanitizer stations on site, and our cleaning crews will do frequent cleanings in high-touch areas.
Health Certification
By entering Knitting LIVE by Vogue Knitting at the New York Marriott Marquis, guests acknowledge that all of the statements below are true the day(s) they visit the event. If any of the statements are NOT true, guest should not come to the event. Guests should contact our registration team via the chat bot, 985-240-5511, or questions@american-tradeshow.com to request a refund of their tickets.
- I have not tested positive for COVID-19 through a diagnostic test in the past ten (10) days.
- I have not had reason to complete the CDC’s guidelines for isolation.
- I am not and have not recently experienced (within the last 48 hours) any new or worsening symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, fever, or runny nose.
- I have not had close contact or proximate contact with any person(s) confirmed with a diagnostic test or suspected based on symptoms to have COVID-19 within the past ten (10) days.

Knitting LIVE has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. If a person engages in harassing behavior, Knitting LIVE staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from Knitting LIVE with no refund. Yes. This not only speeds up the registration process but also helps ensure that you get into the classes you want, should any sell out. To save time, we recommend you choose your classes before registering.
This means that this class is unique to Knitting LIVE!. In other words, the teacher will only be teaching this class at Knitting LIVE and will not be teaching this class at any other knitting show over the next year.
For some classes, homework is listed. Homework is work that teachers require be completed before your class meets. For homework, please visit the Classes page, select a class, and then click on the magnifying glass. Any homework needed for that particular class will be listed. For some classes, supplies are listed. Supplies are tools that teachers request you bring to class. For required supplies, please visit the Classes page, select a class, and scroll down. Any supplies needed for that particular class will be listed. If you prefer to buy supplies at the Knitting LIVE! Tabletop Marketplace, please allow for enough time to purchase them before your class starts. Please keep in mind that the Tabletop Marketplace may not be open before the start of your class. Also note that we cannot guarantee that the Marketplace will have the specific supplies you are looking for, so please plan in advance.
In addition to the class supply list, if you have favorite tools, bring them. Scissors, stitch markers, stitch holders, tape measure, hooks and needles in different sizes, support gloves, and note-taking materials can be easily tucked in a bag.
For some classes, a materials fee is listed. This fee covers the cost of materials provided by the teacher in the classroom. This fee is in addition to the ticket cost and should be paid directly to the teacher in the classroom. Please bring exact change if possible.

All Levels Welcome: Accessible and of interest to those who have years of experience as well as those just starting out.
Beginner: Can knit and purl, cast on and bind off. Eager to learn!
Advanced Beginner: Has beginner skills, plus can work simple increases/decreases, follow written instructions, and can work basic stitch patterns. Ready to move to the next level.
Intermediate: All skills of an advanced beginner, plus proficiency working in the round and has completed multiple accessories or a basic garment. Proficient in many kinds of stitch patterns.
Experienced: Skilled at all knitting techniques. Able to adjust patterns and personalize knits via fit and/or design.
Expert: Experienced in all techniques and looking for a real challenge.

Attendees can choose from several registration options, including individual classes, individual lectures, and packages. Please refer to the pricing page for details on the registration options.
All class, lecture, and package attendees will have access to the Tabletop Marketplace; no separate tickets to the Tabletop Marketplace will be sold.

All attendees will collect their show badges at event registration at the New York Marriott Marquis. The show badge will be your only admission to events.
All attendees will pick up their event badge at registration. No badges will be mailed ahead of time. All attendees will be emailed a QR code a week prior to the event, please bring that barcode to receive your badge at the Registration Desk. Your badge will be presented upon check-in and will be your only means of admission to events. You MUST present your badge at the door to be admitted to any event.
Additional information regarding badge pick-up will be available as we get closer to the event.
Be sure to check in with the Registration Desk as soon as you realize you’ve lost your badge. There is a $10 replacement fee for lost badges.
All cancellations must be received in writing via e-mail or the chat bot. Cancellations received on or before July 5, 2022, will be issued a refund. After July 5, 2022, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows but a full credit will be applied to a future Knitting LIVE Event! In the unlikely event that Knitting LIVE by Vogue Knitting New York is cancelled due to COVID, refunds will be given.
In the unlikely event that Knitting LIVE! cancels a class, we will make every effort to find you a suitable class substitution. If you are not satisfied with the substitute, you may choose another class, and the $10 class change fee will be waived. If you are unsatisfied with either option, we will gladly refund the cost of the class. If you purchased the canceled class within a package, you will be refunded the prorated class rate.
