Can You Knit a Healthy Brain?

Science tells us that a large part of the brain is devoted to our hands. By engaging both hands constructively and creatively, knitters stimulate greater whole-person health. Join the Craft Yarn Council to learn about the growing community of resources, across the country and globally, that use knitting to improve general well-being as well as to complement medical treatments and self-management of health conditions.
 
The event will host a drawing for free giveaways, including: Books and guides on using knitting and crochet to improve your own well-being and a grand prize of a free therapeutic knitting course plus a one-on-one coaching session with therapeutic knitting pioneer, Betsan Corkhill.
