ons and bind-offs for lace, rib, and more. We will also look at pairing cast-ons and bind-

Artistic Cowlettes: Design Your Own Cowlette Without Math!

Have you ever fallen in love with a stunning skein of art yarn but just didn’t know what to knit with it? Or maybe you have a stash of beautiful single skeins waiting for the perfect project? Then, let me introduce you to Artistic Cowlettes.  Cowlettes are mini shawls that are worked in the round.  They are worn like a cowl, but use shawl shaping to create drape and an ergonomic shape.  So unlike shawls, cowlettes are one size fits all, making them the perfect gift.  But, they are also the perfect canvas to create a truly unique accessory.

Inspired by my latest book, Knitting Cowlettes, this class will teach you how to knit the cowlette of your dreams—no swatching required! Think of it as painting with yarn!

In this class, you’ll learn:

How to cast on your cowlette.

How to choose the cowlette shape and increase style that fits your needs.

How to implement different stitch motifs.

Supplies to Bring:

A 100g skein of yarn of any weight (or a few balls of scrap yarn that will equal to 100 g)

16” & 24” circular needle in a size that corresponds with your yarn.  (Use the yarn ballband as a guide)
