The URBAN STUDIO is the perfect setting for knitting & cooking classes, with 2,500 square feet
of exposed wood beams, original brick walls, zinc covered French farm tables, a professional kitchen with copper sinks and French double-door ovens.
The URBAN STUDIO is simply an unusual and beautiful space.
COOKING WITH STEVEN BALLARD
Steve opened Sonora Grill in Ogden, Utah in 2008. Sonora Grill quickly became one of Ogden’s premier restaurants and has won a long list of awards including: Best Mexican Restaurant in Utah, Best Margarita in Utah, and Best Salsa in Utah. A second, much-loved Ogden food spot is Steve’s most recent restaurant, Thai Curry Kitchen. Steve has a
great love for Ogden and is committed to building the community where he and his family
live, work, and play. He is incredibly passionate about food and loves learning and teaching about the history of foods, sustainable food sourcing, the best techniques to prepare food, and the sheer pleasure it all brings.
Friday night we will be preparing a 4-course Thai meal including fresh spring rolls, rainbow salad, white chicken curry, and mango sticky rice.
Saturday night we will be preparing a 4-course Mexican meal including Guacamole, Chilaquiles, Stacked Chicken Enchiladas and Chocolate Tres Leches.
