6:00PM–7:30PM: Dinner at the Boston Park Plaza with your fellow attendees. Meet Virginia B, Johnson, owner of Gather Here, as she discusses juggling owning a yarn store with also being a Hollywood costumer in her talk, Taking Risks and Soaring. Virginia opened Gather Here in February 2011 after wrapping up a PBS docu-drama on Helen Keller six weeks earlier. Since opening, Gather Here has grown from a 1,250-square-foot boutique to a 4,000 square foot maker space. And Virginia's costume design grew with the store. Despite taking a break to establish the store, Virginia continued to work after a one-year hiatus and moved away from supervising films to designing them.
