Terri J. Haynes, a native Baltimorean, has always had a wide creative streak. She has been knitting since childhood and crocheting since early adulthood. There are few crafts that she doesn’t like or tried. She has tried her hand at beading, bookbinding, and cross-stitching.
Terri started dyeing for fun in 2018, and at the urging of her family, and opened AT Haynes House Yarns in 2019. Family is very important to her and she strives to make colorways and products that make customers feel welcome and a part of the family. All the colorways and products at AT Haynes House Yarns are based on things that happen in the Haynes household.
Terri is also a multi-published author, graphic designer, speaker, and Project Knitwell board member. She is the proud wife of a maker, and mother of three adult children. Her passion is community and color. Terri lives in Fort Washington, MD, just outside Washington, DC.
