Description

Corrugated ribbing is a graphic decorative edging used in colorwork designs. This method is is great for cuffs, brims, and sweater hems. It is a two-color ribbing technique that uses alternating colors of yarn while alternating knit and purl stitches. We will work through 1 x 1, 2 x 2 and 3 x 1 ribbing. I will also teach you how to knit this in a two-handed stranding technique as a optional technique.

Homework:

With one color, cast-on 36 sts. Place marker and join in the round. Knit 10 rounds.

 

Supplies for Class:

-Size US 8 - 5.0 mm or US 9 - 5.5 mm double pointed needles

150 yards each of worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors
