In this class, we will make a mini version of my latest pattern, the #everydaylinedhat. On the surface, this appears to be a very simple and straightforward beanie. However, the pattern was written to be skill-building, and it includes some surprise elements.
In class, you will learn how to:
-knit a hat from the crown to the ribbing
-work magic loop
-work a sewn tubular bind off - an intermediate skill!
The skills learned in this class will prepare you to knit a top-down raglan sweater. If you can knit this hat, you will be able to knit any of my raglan sweater patterns. The #everydaylinedhat is both a knitting and sewing pattern. It includes the sewing pattern pieces and the instructions to make a hat lining. We will only cover the knitting portion in class. You will need to purchase the pattern in advance in order to participate in class. Find the pattern either on Ravelry or bayronhandmade.com.
Technique Requirements:
knit/purl
cast on/bind off
increase/decrease
have knit a few accessories
