Class Details:

A look at contemporary shawl knitting through inspiration and innovation. In this class, we’ll look at how to build a shawl project from inspiration to finished shawl. Learn how to manipulate shape, stitch pattern and colour work to create the shawl of your dreams! Note: projects in this class will be planned, but not finished.

Supplies for Class:

• Source of inspiration. This can be a photo or small object.

• notebook /sketchbook and pen/pencil for taking notes and doodling

• Optional: yarn you may wish to use for your ideas

• Optional: needles appropriate for your yarn + 1 or 2 sizes larger

• Optional: your own stash of favorite knitting tools: stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure, scissors or snips, etc.
