Class Details:

Fern is a lacy edged shawl, knit side to side. We’ll learn about this intuitive shawl construction which features a tidy i-cord edge, garter stitch body, and lacy edging. We’ll talk about ways to maximize the size of your shawl based on the amount of yarn you have, a new stretchy bind off, and also learn how to add beads to your knitting. (Beads are optional) Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, chart reading, have knit a few accessories

Homework:

Come to class with a swatch, 16 sts wide and 5 rows in stockinette (knit on RS, purl on WS). We’ll practice our lace stitches and add beads to this swatch before casting on the real deal.
