In this class students will practice knitting a lace panel and an edging. They will prepare for the knitting exercise by learning how to understand the structure of the featured patterns. This beginning exercise will enable them to “read” their work. These skills will help them to practice single and double-sided lace techniques and horizontal lace knitting. Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, beginner lace, chart reading

Light Colored Heavy Worsted Weight yarn and knitting utensils including appropriately sized circular knitting needles for the yarn, markers, scissors, row counter, etc.
