Please bring your swatch made from smooth worsted-weight yarn in a light to medium color with corresponding needle size (Suggested size: US 7). Please do not use textured, novelty, or difficult-to-use yarn. You will also need a pencil, locking stitch markers and a cable needle or short double-pointed needle in a size close to your swatch needle. A highlighter pen can also be useful. The cable needles I recommend are made by Brittany but any cable needle you can find is fine for the purpose of this class.
