Lis was first taught to knit by her grandmother when she was young but over the past decade her passion for knitting has grown from a skill into a vocation. A love of textiles and hand crafts beyond knitting inspires and informs her process, and includes sewing as well as growing and working with natural dyes from her home garden. While holding her coastal New England roots at heart, Lis happily calls the Pacific Northwest her home, with a posse of mischievous cats by her side.
