Have you always admired beautiful lace knits but are afraid to knit some of your own? In this class, Melissa will demystify lace. After the hands-on session, you’ll be able to begin your first lace project, a lovely cowl.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off

Homework:

1) With smooth light colored worsted weight yarn, cast on 17 stitches. Work K1P1 Rib for 1". Then knit one row and purl one row.

2) With smooth light colored worsted weight yarn, cast on 41 stitches. Work K1P1 Rib for 1". Then knit one row and purl one row.

Supplies for Class:

Two homework swatches, 2 stitch markers, sticky notes, size 8 or 9 knitting needles, and the class handout printed and ready to go.
