Class Details:

With a fitted yoke, fitted sleeves, some ease on the body, and a “kinda” cropped shape, the petite boxy is a sweater for everyone! In this class, we'll break down and explore the steps to knit your new favorite sweater! Participants will receive a sweater pattern as a gift. The pattern will be helpful as a guide to follow the steps of the Top-down seamless circular yoke sweater.

In the first session, you will learn:
1. How to choose your size and ease.
2. Details of every step of the construction, including:
• Cast on, crew neckline and back neck shaping (How to work Tubular CO and BO (and fall in love with them), ribbed crew neckline and back neck shaping with short rows!)
• Yoke (how increases are organized and the possibilities with colorwork, textured stitches)

In the second session, you will learn:
• How to separate body and sleeves (how to CO on the wrong side)
• Working the body (best moment for alterations)
• Working the sleeves (how to and pick up stitches for 3 D shaping, eliminating underarm holes and seaming!)
• Blocking

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round, chart reading, short rows
