Keith, with MarinJa's permission, is going to work magic as he guides you through and simplifies the pattern, demonstrating the techniques needed to make this STUNNING shawl! You will learn how to knit this shawl in GERMAN SHORT ROWS instead of traditional Wrap & Turns. Walk away with all the knowledge and confidence to knit this true work of art!

Technique Requirements: Be familiar with German Short Rows.

Supplies to Bring:

• 1 pencil
• Printed copy of The Butterfly Shawl by MarinJaKnits available on Ravelry here.
• Size 24'' US #4 circular knitting needle
• If you have a butterfly shawl kit, you’re all set with yarn! However, the kit is not mandatory for this class. If you would rather use scrap yarn for practice, please bring 1 skein of fingering weight yarn in a solid color and one skein in a multi (or self striping color)
• Please bring your completed homework and all printouts to class.
