Angela Tong is a fiber arts designer living in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. She designs knitting, crochet, and weaving patterns for numerous magazines, books, and yarn companies. She also teaches knitting and weaving classes online for Bluprint, Interweave, and at yarn stores and fiber retreats. Angela is also a certified knitting instructor through the Craft Yarn Council of America. Mary has pioneered two reversible knitting techniques, Fission & Fusion Knitting. The innovative use of slipped-stitches in her designs led to several methods of creating knitted fabrics with woven motifs. Mary is fascinated by the concise way weaving patterns are communicated & hopes that this will translate into knitting patterns.
