Class Details:

Brioche knitting is all the rage, and with its gorgeous colorwork and texture, it’s no wonder why. Happily for crocheters, the brioche technique translates well to crochet! It creates a dense, often reversible, textured fabric using our basic stitches and clever placement. In this 2-hour class, you will learn the basics of brioche crochet while working on a cowl, adding yet another amazing possibility to your crochet toolbox.

Technique Requirements: Basic crochet stitches (chain, double crochet, slip stitch) and techniques, working in rounds, reading patterns.

Materials for the cowl
100g worsted weight yarn in each of 2 colors
6 mm hook
2x locking stitch markers, yarn needle, scissors

Materials for the heart (optional)
Sport weight or DK weight yarn – Used by designer: Scheepjes Catona, approx. 13 g in each of 2 colors.
3mm crochet hook
Scissors, stitch marker or yarn leftovers, stuffing.
