Class Details:

Kilim carpets are an ancient type of woven textile. In this class we will transform a kilim motif into knitting and expand the limits of creation. We will make the most recognizable motif, which is said to bring good fortune. I will guide and show you how to work intarsia, read a motif chart, change colors, and finish the sample. This class will allow you to apply these techniques to further projects and convert other motifs into knitting.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, chart reading, easy colorwork, basic finishing techniques
