Reyka is a knitted feature and technique. It can be used as a selvedge and as a ribbing.
The new Reyka Selvedge (RS) is very decorative. It makes a very tidy edge with an unusual line: the edge is flat and identical on either side. It is therefore highly recommended for scarves and shawls.
Reyka Ribbing (RR) is a new addition to existing ribbings. It is perfect for now fashionable wide fit sweaters. Reyka Ribbing is totally reversible, it keeps its shape, and it’s very easy to work, with no purl stitches. Reyka is also a good choice to knit sturdy belts.
We will learn both RS and RR, how to start them, to work and to finish them by knitting a few samples.
A useful handout with text and video tutorial will be provided.
