Class Details:
Do you have great ideas for your next project, but too intimidated to sketch your ideas? Do you think that you are not an artist? This workshop is for those intimidated to sketch their creative ideas. Open to knitters and crochets, we will begin the process of creating your design sketchbook, explore different methods of illustrating your creative ideas without fear.
Homework:
Bring ideas for at least two designs that you want to knit/crochet. Please bring photos of the stitches that you want to use in your future creation, think about color(s) for this piece, if you have already decided on the yarn, bring a 12" piece of the yarn(s) to reference for your illustration.
Supplies for Class:
Mechanical pencils; colored pencils; sketchbook (at least 8.5 x 11); scraps of yarn and fabric (leftover yarns from your projects are perfect for this!); needles and hooks to work with the yarn; optional: any additional art materials that you would like to experiment with
