Class Details:
Learn how to mix and blend your fingering-weight yarns to create exciting colour effects through holding them double or even triple stranded. In this class we will cover how to pick colours to marl together to create different blending effects, and the simple maths involved to make sure you’re changing things up at the ideal points in your project. By holding your strands double or triple you will be getting a fabric that is similar to DK/worsted or worsted/bulky weight. The principles and ideas that we will be covering in this class can be applied to any project you wish to work on, even if it does not specifically call to be marled. Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off; have knit a few accessories
