Class Details:
This class is part demonstration with AV presentation and part short lecture about 3D knitwear in hand knitting, and it’s all inspiration! Olga presents her 3D design philosophy to reveal how she approaches knitwear from a slightly different angle and she takes your existing knitting skills down a novel path. You will learn not just how to make the 3D textured Kune-Kune Shawl or Kune-Kune Cowl, but also how to adapt the pattern and shape it to your liking. Technique Requirements: knit, purl, cast on, bind off, pick up stitches

Supplies for Class:

● 2160 yards of lace weight yarn (if held double stranded) OR 1080 yards of fingering
or sport weight yarn (if held single stranded)
● US 5 (3.75 mm) circular, 24-36”
● Crochet Hook D (3.25 mm) or E (3.5 mm)
● Waste yarn in different color and similar weight to work
● One double pointed needle, 1 or 2 sizes smaller than main needle
● Tapestry needle
● Purchase Kune-Kune Shawl or Kune-Kune Cowl pattern before arriving to class
