Are you ready to Find Your Fade?! In this class we will play with finding your fade! We'll discuss organizing and picking the perfect colors for your shawl and Andrea will share tips on how to create your own gradient. We will then dive right into tips for knitting the shawl, melting from one color to the next, having fun, and blocking it out for the perfect shape!
Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; beginner lace; basic finishing techniques
Supplies for Class:
Yarn for shawl (fingering weight yarn, 1540yd/385g) in multiple colors; this can either be just the first two colors you plan to use for your shawl, or bring in all of them for show and tell or if you want help putting them in the perfect order! 7 colors is recommended. US 4/3.5 mm 24"/60 cm circular needle. Stitch marker, one fixed and one locking. Row counter or highlighter tape is recommended. Color pencils or crayons. An autographed copy of the pattern will be provided in class.
