Class Details:
Shawls come in a wide range of shapes. This class will help you understand how the shape of a shawl is built by the increases (decreases), and take your shawl knitting to a whole new level. Once you get the basic idea, modifications are very easy to make, and it will be only a small step to bringing your own shawl ideas to life. We will discuss basic shawl shaping (triangular – symmetric/asymmetric, circular, semi-circular, square, etc.), different ways to increase, how to add color/texture, or play with different yarn weights.
Homework:
None
Supplies for Class:
Knitting yarn and matching circular needles. Stitch markers. Notebook and pen.
