Class Details:
Louisa Harding has created many projects by adding beads to her knitwear designs. Beads add elegance, drape and a little bit of sparkle. In this workshop you will learn two different ways of adding beads to your knitting. We will look at threading beads onto the yarn to create a beaded picot cast-on and a textured beaded pattern. We will also explore the technique of using a crochet hook to add beads to your work which works really well with lace and eyelet patterns. Students will have the opportunity to try all the techniques in a practice swatch.

Supplies for Class:
US 6/4mm knitting needles. Very fine tapestry needle & 0.6 mm crochet hook (although there will be some to share). Yarn and beads will be provided.
