Class Details:

If you have ever wondered how to avoid ladders, substitute a different sock heel, or customize a pattern to fit your foot, then this is the class for you. In Sock Knitting: Tips and Tricks, students will learn how to personalize and customize socks to fit and give the knitter control over the look of their socks. This class will provide the information to take our sock knitting to the next level.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round, have knit a few accessories, knowledge of sock construction

Homework:

Students are required to cast on a sock in worsted weight yarn (48 stitches), knit a basic 2x2 cuff, and work at least 5-10 rounds of the leg.

Supplies for Class:

Worsted-weight yarn; US size 4, 5, or 6 needles (long circulars if you use magic loop; dpns if you prefer them); and stitch markers.
