Ever wonder what’s the difference and what’s in common between brioche stitch, tuck stitch, and fisherman’s rib, and how each is worked? In this class you’ll learn all three methods, how to tell them apart, and how to choose between them for the most benefit while knitting either the two-color Reimei Cowl or the one-color Boshoku Cowl.

Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; working in the round; have knit a few accessories; basic finishing techniques

Supplies for Class:

For Reimei Cowl: 140 yards chunky-weight yarn each in a main color and contrast color; size U.S. 10 (6 mm) 24” or 36” circular needle; size G/6 (4.25 mm) crochet hook; stitch marker; tapestry needle.

For Boshoku Cowl: 240 yards chunky weight yarn; size U.S. 11 (8 mm) 24” circular needle; size G/6 or H/8 (4.25 or 5 mm) crochet hook; stitch marker; tapestry needle.
