Class Details:

In this class you will learn a technique for working and creating negative spaces modular style without breaking off the yarn or working intarsia. You will learn how to calculate different shaping for the negative spaces and experiment with the innovative method for your knitwear. Skills learned: Several types of stretchy cast-on methods How to create negative spaces in knit fabric continuously How to balance the knit fabric while adding the negative spaces How to create various shapes of negative spaces How to make the right yarn and stitch pattern choice when working patterns with negative space Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, have knit a few accessories

Smooth, not fuzzy, non-superwash wool yarn or blend in light or bright colors for swatching. In weight not thinner than DK, and needles in several sizes - suitable for the yarn and 1 and 2 sizes smaller. Removable marker.
