Class Details:
Learn how to knit beautiful reversible cables in two-color brioche, while knitting the Brioche Twist Headband! The class explore the cabling technique in brioche stitch, the headband can be knit in the traditional 1x1 rib brioche stich, or a brioche variation called stockinette brioche (as pictured).
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, basic brioche comfort
Homework:
Knit a gauge swatch in brioche to determine what needle size to use for your cowl. The pattern is written for 15 sts / 19 rows over 10 cm / 4” on US 6 & 4.0 mm needles.
Supplies to Bring:
Two colors of Aran-weight yarn (about 50 m / 55 yds per color) and US 6/4.0 mm needles (circular or DPNs), cable needle, tapestry needle, and locking stitch marker.
