Class Details:
Wrap and WHAT?! Explore short rows during this immersive workshop. We will dive deep into some of the common short row techniques you’ll encounter in knitting patterns. Once you’ve found your favorite, we’ll learn how to interchange different short row styles for one another in patterns. Short rows covered in class: German Short Rows, Wrap and Turn, and Japanese Short Rows.
Homework:
With US 7 (4.5mm) or US 8 (5mm) knitting needle and medium color worsted weight yarn, cast on 20 stitches.
Row 1 (RS): knit 20.
Row 2 (WS): purl 20.
Leave these 20 stitches on the needles for class.
Supplies to Bring:
•Smooth worsted weight yarn in a light or medium color, about 50 yards.
•US 7 (4.5 mm) or US 8 (5mm) knitting needles.
• Lock-ring stitch markers.
