Add bold color motifs and designs to your knitting using the popular color knitting technique of intarsia. Since it allows knitters to add color and shapes where they please, intarsia can best be described as “painting with yarn.” Learn to work with bobbins, read a chart, work duplicate stitch, and create bold blocks of color using intarsia as you make a mini piece of modern art during this workshop.
Technique Requirements: cast-on, bind-off, knit, purl.
Cast on 30 stitches in any color and purl one row. Bring this with you to class. Our class sample will be about 7x5” (18x13 cm).
