Class Details:

Every garment project can use a pocket! In this class, we will learn how and when to add vertical, horizontal, diagonal, kangaroo, and smartphone-friendly pockets! We will also cover how to add structure to pockets using fabric. By the end of class, you will be able to plug and play my pocket instructions into your next project. Class includes a free pattern that you can use to practice later!

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round, have knit a whole garment, have knit a few accessories, basic finishing techniques

Supplies to Bring:

Supplies is optional to account for all learning styles. If you wish to knit along with us in class, you will need:
• Scrap yarn for placing stitches on hold
• A skein of worsted weight yarn with appropriately sized 24” (or longer) circular needles (gauge is not crucial)
• Snips
• Tapestry Needle
