Class Details:

Knitted log cabin squares take their inspiration from their quilted cousins. Once you know how to make them, you can take off in many directions! We’ll start with the simple garter stitch log cabin square that is the basis of the Log Cabin Baby Blanket, and then we’ll discuss the many ways you can use these squares, or alter them to make them your own.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off

Homework:

Cast on 6 sts, using long tail cast on. Knit 11 rows. Leave work on the needles.

Supplies to Bring:

Three or five colors of worsted weight yarn, for practice. Needles that are an appropriate size for your yarn.
