This is a two-part class. Both sections of the class will automatically be placed in your cart when you select one of the sessions.

Pockets are not just functional additions to garments; they can also enhance the aesthetic appeal and versatility of your knitted creations. In this class, we will delve into various techniques for adding pockets to both new knitted garments and existing ones. By the end of this workshop, you'll be equipped with the skills to create vertical, horizontal, side seam, and cut-in pockets.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, basic finishing techniques

Homework:

Students will need to knit 4 stockinette swatches of 25 stitches x 30 rows in worsted yarn.

Supplies to Bring:

Worsted-weight yarn, DK-weight yarn in a matching color, DK-wweight yarn in a contrast color, US 8/5mm knitting needles, US 7/4.5mm knitting needles, darning needle, scissors, double-pointed needles US 8/5mm, US 7/4.5mm.
