Did you know that slip-stitch patterns can produce light and lace fabric that has a lot of drape? Take this class and explore the less-known possibilities of slip stitch. Learn how to combine lace with some gentle slip-stitch patterns and enjoy the fascinating journey to the unknown. This class will give you courage to create your own stitches for your future projects.
Technique Requirements: Know how to work some simple lace and slip-stitch patterns.
Homework:
CO 25 sts.
Row 1 (WS): Sl1, k1, purl to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 2: Sl1, k1, p2, k3, p2, k 7, p2, k3, p2, k2.
Repeat these two rows two more times. Do not bind off.
Supplies to Bring:
Sport- or fingering-weight light and solid-colored yarn. Needles: US 3–4, stitch markers, pencil and paper for notes.
