Class Details:

This is a two-part class. Both sections of the class will automatically be placed in your cart when you select one of the sessions.

In this class students will learn how to work with more than one color at the same time and using typical Portuguese motifs (tiles, tapestries...); all aspects of working with colors will be addressed.

- Color theory
- Color dominance and how to make a motif pop out of the work
- How to catch floats behind the work
- How to use the Portuguese Style to maintain a constant and perfect tension.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, chart reading

Supplies to Bring:

A range of needles between US 4 to 6 circular needles. Sport/light DK yarn in at least 4 to 6 different and contrasting colors, if possible the same brand. Colored pencils. Basic notions (stitch markers, scissors).
