At The Royal Bee Yarn Company, we design our yarn from fleece to finished fiber. We started with a desire to create a yarn that was super soft, ethically sourced, environmentally friendly, naturally hand-dyed, and with great stitch definition. It is also our goal to support other small businesses in the United States that are committed to sustainability and craft. Our fleece is 100% merino wool from an American farm. The family-owned mill is not too far away and is as committed to the environment as we are. By the very nature of naturally hand-dyed non-superwash yarns, each hank is a little bit different, with rich variegation. The Royal Bee Yarn Company is also a shop in Pacifica, California (about 5 miles south of San Francisco). Our shop and stitch groups are inclusive of ALL, and we embrace our BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.
