Class Details:
Explore all the textured techniques and stitches used in the book Textured Knits! Loom stitch, embroidery-as-knit, tuck-in stitch, colorwork, cables without using cable needles, and wrap stitches! This class intend to be a party of cool stitches and techniques.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, easy colorwork
Homework:
3 swatches from the handout (available in the Event Hub in advance of the event).
Supplies for Class:
• Printed out handout
• Very small amounts of Fingering or sock, mohair, Dk and worsted weight yarns. We will knit small swatches from the book!
• Needles in suitable size for the yarns (gauge is not crucial)
• Stitch markers
• Paper and pencil for notes
